A few of the large trees on the lot had to be taken out, but many were able to be saved and will serve to shade the west side of the library with its reading area along the long, curved, wall of windows.

Demolition

Demolition began on Wednesday, December 6th of the two existing structures on the new library’s lot. Some of the building materials were able to be salvaged and the rest of the debris is rapidly being cleared.
